Extruding provides for advantageous manufacture of:

• Large-lot semi-products before final treatment
• Cup, plug and bush-shaped parts
• Parts with intricately shaped hollows which do not require further treatment
• Rotating parts of substantially different diameters, where machining would result in large material waste
• Parts necessitating the basic material strength increase without heat treatment
• Parts with mechanical and physical properties better than with casting

Extrusion is volume forming, at which the material creep is induced by a short-term action of specific high pressure. Cold forming results in a substantial change to mechanical and physical properties of the material. Among others, the strength and yield point rise.
