Produced from Expanded Metal with Non-cut Edging 3x47/13x5 a 3x62, 5/15x5

Load The permissible concentrated force acting on an area of 100 x 100 mm in the flier centre is 1500 N. To select the flier grillage type, apply the same rules as for the framing type selection. A selection procedure and example is given for floor framings

Material quality
Fliers are made as weldments of expanded metal, fixing plates and stiffeners. The expanded metal (62.5/15x5) is manufactured from plates of the steel qualities 11321.1, 11320.10, 11300.10, 11330.30. The fixing plates and stiffeners are made from the same materials as the expanded metal, or from the 11 373.1 steel quality plates.

Surface protection
- Hot galvanizing according EN ISO 1461
- Raw without surface protection.

Flier mounting
The flier fixing plates (side edges) are provided with circular and oval holes for screws M12 to attach the flier to the strings. Each flier has to be fixed with 4 screws. The fixing screw pitch can be adjusted by the customer’s request.
